Studio Manager: The Studio Manager’s priority is to ensure the studio floor is running effectively. This entails working with varying departments and studio assistants to guarantee our clients’ needs are met. No one day is ever the same and it is the responsibility of the Studio Manager to adapt to varying situations and problem-solve when necessary. It is a a position that requires strong interpersonal, client-management, and communication skills.You will lead a team of studios assistants who provide support and care to our clients. You will provide the assistants with daily tasks, client requests, and evening turnover plans.It will be the responsibility of the Studio Manager to ensure that all services including equipment, catering and set-build are met to the requirements as set out by production while maintaining the highest standards.A key component of the Studio Manager role is maintaining the care of the building and managing health and safety. This entails keeping a record of what maintenance needs to be undertaken in addition to booking in and overseeing any work that is completed. This is a full-time role and you will be expected to be available on weekends and for overtime when required. Full-time & Freelance Studio Assistants: Loft Studios requires freelance and full-time studio assistants to join our team. The successful applicant must enjoy the challenge of working in a busy studio environment, be self motivated, enthusiastic, outgoing, have excellent communication and organisational skills, be fully prepared to work hard, long hours and be able to keep a cool head in high pressure situations.Tasks within this role will include: liaising with photographers and their assistants, helping to setup & breakdown lighting and grip equipment, cleaning studios, and painting, maintaining studio’s on a daily basis, taking breakfast and lunches to and from studios.This is a physically demanding role and you must be available to work weekends and some overtime. It’s a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a busy studio environment, and suitable for those who wish to become a photographers assistant. Event Crew: We are seeking highly motivated Events Crew to work in our thriving events department. This is a freelance role and you must be available on weekends. Tasks include working with our in-house production team and events crew to help deliver incredible events, help install and breakdown decor, installations and distribution rigs, assist technicians with sound and lighting rigs, careful manoeuvring of in house equipment and furniture, return studios to their original state, follow Health and Safety procedures. Please email cv’s to events@loftstudios.co.uk
